Description
Rubber dam punch forceps are designed to create holes of varying sizes in the rubber dam material to permit the passage of dam over the teeth. It has a rotating metal table with holes of different sizes according to size of teeth and a tapered sharp pointed pin.
The smaller holes in the table of rubber dam punch are reserved for incisors, canines and premolars and the larger holes are used for molars.

Direction of use
- Take a sheet of rubber and a sheet of rubber dam template
- Place rubber dam sheet over the top of the template and adjust
- Select the particular tooth to be isolated with a marker pen
- Make a hole using a rubber dam punch. Proper punching includes proper alignment of the punch table with the pin, alignment of the pin with the hole mark on the dam, and punching ; then, pulling the dam up over the point of the punch
