- The 3M Tegaderm CHG IV Securement Dressing is an integrated IV dressing that combines antimicrobial protection, site visibility, catheter securement and breathability
- The antimicrobial protection is afforded through a chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) gel pad
- The catheters are secured with a large securement tape strip and a conforming keyhole notch
- The transparent film and gel pad enable continuous site visibility which aids in the early assessment of infections on the insertion site
- The film is breathable
 
Indicated Applications include securing of:
- Short peripheral IV and midline venous catheters
- Central venous catheters - subclavian, jugular, femoral and PICCs)
- Dialysis catheters
- Epidural Catheters
- Assorted percutaneous devices
- The dressing is available in the size 8.5cm * 11.5cm and comes in a standard packing of 25 dressings per box
