3M IV Transparent Dressing
- The 3M IV Transparent Dressing is sterile and has a notched design for a better seal around the catheter compliant with CDC, 2011 and INS guidelines
- It is a breathable film that allows moisture vapour and oxygen exchange, provides a bacterial and viral barrier to outside contaminants
- The transparent film with high adhesion allows for maximum versatility as it can be cut to any shape and size
- The IV dressing allows easy monitoring of wounds without the need to remove the dressing
- Suggested Applications:
- To secure catheters for peripheral and central IV lines
- Paediatric applications and securing of dialysis catheters
- Can be used for other catheter applications like pulmonary artery and jugular catheters
