- The 3M Steri Strip Wound Closure System has a non-invasive design that helps reduce scarring and the risk of infection as compared to sutures and staples, providing less tissue trauma and better cosmetic outcomes
- It is sterile, breathable and comfortable to wear
- It provides a viral and bacterial barrier (In vitro testing shows that the transparent film dressing provides a viral barrier from viruses 27 mm in diameter or larger while the dressing remains intact without leakage)
- The system keeps wound protected with the Steri-Strip closure and allows patient to shower or bathe
- Suggested Applications:
- For use in skin closure applications where extra protection is required
- Ideal for wounds and incisions of 2.5 cm or less
- Arthroscopic & laparoscopic procedures
- For use in: Emergency Department, Operating Room, Clinics and physician's offices, Same day surgery centres
- The size of the dressing is 2.375 Inch x 1.875 Inch (60mm x 47mm) and the size of the strip is 1.875 Inch x 0.5 Inch (47mm x 12mm)
